On Saturday night we went to the Headliners Comedy Club in Chiswick. It’s the first time I have been but someone we went with had been before. Located at the back of the George IV pub on the Chiswick High Road the Comedy Club was in a great location.
By booking online we got reduced ticket prices and a pre-booked table which is definitely the way to go. We had a high table which meant we had a perfect view of the small stage and a bit of space to move around. The people on the lower tables in the middle of the room looked a little cramped and seemed to mostly pay on the door.
I hadn’t heard of the acts we were going to see in advance but they were all really good. We saw 4 acts on the night and the line up seems to change every week from what I saw on the booking site. I will definitely be going again.
The same people are involved in organising the Ealing Comedy Festival which we attend every year in Walpole Park and we have never been disappointed with the line ups. If you enjoy live comedy and are happy to see people you might not have heard of before give Chiswick or Ealing a go, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
The Ealing Comedy Festival is the last two weeks of July every year in Walpole Park and this year is the 20th Anniversary so the first couple of nights there are 20 acts on the bill!
