Special Mention: Frank Lampard

Tonight Frank Lampard will earn his 100th England cap which is a huge deal.  He has been reliable and consistent for England for many years and now coming to the end of his career its nice to know he reached such a high milestone before he retires.

I have had the privilege to see him play for both England and Chelsea and seen many of his wonderful and record-breaking goals.  Always a joy to see him play.

He seems to be a genuinely nice bloke too, never heard anyone say a bad word about him.  He deserves to have a huge welcome tonight from the England faithful travelling to the Ukraine and hopefully there is still more to come from him.

Personally I hope to see him get another of his special goals next week against FC Basel at the Bridge! I’m sure he will be recognised by the Chelsea faithful on his return to the Bridge like Ashley was after getting his 100th cap.

Good luck for tonight Frank!

Come on England!
